Sanjib Sen

Sanjib Sen

SanjibSen is a well established & a senior advertising photographer who has been in the photography circuit as a successful studio photographer for over 2 decades. He has worked for most major brands for major advertising agencies. His art training at the College of Art, New Delhi, which has been a great bonus to understand the balance between commercial world & an artistic expression keeps him as one of the few photographers who understands the aesthetics of his images along with great technical ability to present to the client.

He is also presently a visiting faculty with Delhi College of Art, Delhi Administration, New Delhi.

Below is a quote on SanjibSen from his Website www.sanjibsen.co.in
“SanjibSen peers at the image on the ground glass of his Sinar 4x5 camera. Satisfied with the composition, the bearded, non-assuming photographer measures the light and shoots off a couple of frames.

In a few seconds, the image pops up on a Macintosh laptop on a nearby table. Sanjib quickly checks the final picture and copies it on a CD. The client who is waiting eagerly, grabs the cd and hotfoots it out off Sanjib's studio and back to his own office. There, he can just place the image into a digital artwork and send it for processing.
No developing, no contact sheets, no time wasted!

Welcome to the world of Digital Photography!

SanjibSen is originally a trained art director, who has worked in advertising agencies for more than 7 years. More than anyone else, he should know the advantages of digital photography over conventional film. And because he shoots with the best of lenses and cameras, the quality of the pictures is the same or better. It is just that the image is recorded on a Leaf Digital Back using 22 million pixels. In fact the resolution is better than conventional film. Plus, the cost of film is eliminated, the processing cost and time is eliminated, generation loss on copies is eliminated and you get pictures in 20" X 30" size, with 300 dpi resolution. That is good enough to print 40" X 30" posters from!”
